PLENARY IX - FIGHTING INEQUALITIES: THE ROLE OF THE SOCIAL STATE IN THE WIDER ATLANTIC

"Our consumption and production model is incompatible with the climate requirements of the planet. We cannot continue in this trajectory, as we have attained a level of emergency. We have also reached a level of accumulation of wealth that is absolutely astonishing. The 1% richest part of the world has the same welfare as half of the planet.
