This Friday, we organized a seminar with the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy focusing on the Afro-Asian partnership, to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Korea and Morocco.
How did it go? After the introductory remarks of His Excellency Mr. Chung Keeyong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Morocco, 14 Korean and Moroccan experts shared their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities of the economic relationship and agendas for further cooperation in Africa of both countries, before addressing the changes in international relations and dynamics of regional integration in Asia and Africa. Both panels ended with an interactive discussion with the audience.
The seminar ended with the closing remarks of the President of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, Kim Heung Chong, and the Executive President of the Policy Center for the New South, Karim El Aynaoui.
