APSACO 6th edition: African Security in Times of Uncertainties
After two special online editions, the African Peace and Security Annual Conference is finally back for a hybrid edition on "African Security in Times of Uncertainties".
The conference, which will be held on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st of July, 2022, is intended to be a moment of exchange allowing the analysis of the place and the influence of Africa in the light of its levers and assets, its history, and its ability to overcome its weaknesses to adapt to global changes.

| The Responsibility to Protect: To Act or Not to Act?
At the 2005 World Summit, the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) doctrine emerged as a formalized and multilateral way for states to protect populations under the threat of war crimes, crimes against humanity, or genocide. While it should be regarded as a preventative doctrine, it has been weaponized and usurped from its founding principles. In this regard, R2P's main faults lay in the implementation phase, and this podcast will discuss these dynamics and to what extent the R2P doctrine should be rethought.

| CALL FOR APPLICATIONS The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program 2022
The ADEL program is PCNS’s flagship young professionals program and will bring together 30 young leaders from around the Atlantic basin and Africa for a three day curated policy program and workshops with decision and opinion makers on key strategic Atlantic development and cooperation issues. The cohort will also get to join our annual Atlantic Dialogues conference as full participants following the program.
