ABOUT AD

The Atlantic Dialogues are back live in Marrakesh in December to talk about “Cooperation in a Mutating World: Opportunities of the Wider Atlantic”.

The last face-to-face edition was held in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic, dealing with “The South in a time of turmoil”. In 2020 and 2021, AD Talks were held online through webinars around “The COVID-19 crisis viewed from the Southern Atlantic” and “The Wider Atlantic in a challenging recovery”.

The event is by invitation only.

What makes the Atlantic Dialogues so unique ? Since its launch in 2012 in Marrakesh, the high-level international conference suggests new reading grids on the Wider Atlantic dynamics, by underscoring the growing importance of the Southern Atlantic in the global geopolitical debate.

The Atlantic Dialogues offer an uninhibited, frank, and uncompromising debate on an equal footing. It is a unique opportunity for voices of the South to be heard on global matters.

ON THE AGENDA

This year's theme of AD2022, “Cooperation in a Mutating World: Opportunities of the Wider Atlantic”, will search for an optimistic outlook, seeking solutions despite conflicts, climatic disasters, the energy crisis and a worrying economic situation.
